Eric Chavez is a second year MBA student at Harvard Business School hailing from Austin, TX. As a first-generation college student, he graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Before business school, Eric worked in the technology industry at Dell Inc. in engineering and product marketing roles. After HBS, Eric hopes to pivot his professional career towards a corporate social responsibility function where he can promote and influence more pro-social consumer buying behavior in either the technology or retail sectors.
