Edirin Sido is a D.M.D. candidate at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM), as well as a graduate of the College, where she concentrated in Neurobiology. During her time at Harvard, she was a member of the varsity volleyball team, the Nigerian Students Association, the Harvard African Students Association, and the Pleiades Society. Edirin is thoroughly engaged in community service: previously volunteering at the Harvard Square homeless shelter, working as a medical and dental assistant in Honduras and Panama in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Now, she serves with the Racial Justice Coalition at HMS/HSDM and the Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA). She plans to continue her work with the marginalized during her time as a D.M.D. candidate and later as a dentist.
