Christopher Hopson is a sophomore at Harvard College pursuing a joint concentration in Social Studies and African American Studies.  Originally from Tennessee, he was raised in the Washington, DC area, and calls it home.  Growing up, he developed strong interests in history, politics, and social issues, which he continues to pursue in college.  This past year, he served as co-chair for Inclusivity and Outreach for the Black Students Association, and was a Peer Advisor to ten first-year students.  He continues to find discussion about social identity, experience, and outlook to be fruitful avenues for improving the communities we live in.
